It’s Kadooment Day in Barbados and the whole island is LIT for the festivities.

The island is flooded with locals partying it up in the streets for Kadooment Day 2017 during the Crop Over festival. It’s the finale celebration of the season, so everyone is in party mode to celebrate.

As she does almost every year, Rihanna jetted to her homeland to get it in with her family and friends. And, of course, she got all dressed up in jaw dropping festive gear.

The Bajan babe rocked a custom designed costume by Lauren Austin for Aura Experience. She paired her iridescent costume with crystal Kerin Rose Goldfishnet tights and PUMA sneakers. The “Work” singer topped her look off with teal wiggery, serving up a mermaid vibe.

OBJ suffered a hard blow during the Giants pre-season game against the Cleveland Browns last night. Today, the NFL wide receiver will undergo an MRI on his ankle after leaving Monday's game because of the injury, according to the NFL Network.

It's reported the MRI is just a precaution.

The New Orleans native left the game in the 2nd quarter after taking a low hit from Browns cornerback Briean Boddy-Calhoun. Refs said it was a legal hit, but fans are questioning if it was a dirty, super low hit.

Looks like the Giants really needed their dancing king. They lost to the Browns, 10-6.

Chyna's attorney Lisa Bloom is addressing rumors about Chy and her ex-fiance's Rob Kardashian's "custody war." It was reported that Dream Kardashian's parents were scheduled to hash out their issues in a custody hearing next month, but Lisa Bloom said that's not the case. She told E! News:

"There are many false statements in this article, which I told TMZ, but they published it anyway. I was present and witnessed the entire non-event."

However, there is a hearing for the for the domestic violence restraining order Chyna filed in July in response to Rob leaking her nudes on social media.

Rapper Ludacris is coming up on the big 4-0 (September 11th), so he decided to celebrate the milestone birthday with an intimate soiree during his LudaDay Weekend festivities. The birthday boy’s party was hosted by Haute Living at Debra Johnston’s private estate in Atlanta with the help of Rolls Royce Motor Cars of Georgia, Martell Cognac and Perrier Jouet.  Fancy AF.

After the event, chick changed out of that stunning black a hi-lo gown from Ralph & Russo into something more dance floor ready.

The braless singer rocked a white off-the-shoulder silk gown paired with white sandals and a lepoard print Louis Vuitton mini trunk bag to hit the afterparty scene at 1OAK in NYC.

So perfect.

After the club, the "Work" singer trekked it to Coppelia for a bite to eat.

Lil Kim also did a wardrobe change. She slipped out of her mini for lace and thigh high boots. Looking good Kimmy.

It was an epic night for Donald Glover as he scooped up TWO, yes two, Primetime EMMY Awards for his dope FX series, “Atlanta.” He made HISTORY as the first black director to win the EMMY for Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series. YAS! He also won the EMMY for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy.

To make his moment even sweeter, he’s also welcoming baby #2. So yeah, he had PLENTY to celebrate after the ceremony. The Spider-Man: Homecoming star hit up the 69 Annual Primetime EMMY Awards Governors Ball to celebrate his historical wins.

As he made his rounds, Donald nabbed a photo-op with fellow comedy writing EMMY winner Aziz Ansari.

He did it again! “This Is Us” actor Sterling K. Brown won his 2nd EMMY for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series. The EMMYs were EXTRA shady when it came to his extra black acceptance speech, turning his mic off and turning down the lights after he demanded he was NOT going to be shut down.

Either way, he still had a good time and his wife/co-star Ryan Michelle Bathe did too. The happy couple was all smiles at the Governor’s Ball with the golden statue.

"Atlanta" star Zazie Beetz, who's filming Deadpool 2, served up floral fabulousness on the carpet. We can't wait to see her kick a** in the Deadpool 2 movie.

The G.O.O.D. Music artist was tapped to perform at the 2017 iHeartRadio Music Festival held at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas last night. And his 20-year-old girlfriend came out to show her support, spotted making her way inside backstage.

Jesse Williams’ divorce from his estranged wife Aryn Drake-Lee is costing him a pretty penny.

After 5 years of marriage (and being together a total 13 years), the former couple is calling it quits and the “Grey’s Anatomy” star has to cough up some serious cash.

According to TMZ, Jesse (who’s rumored to be dating actress Minka Kelly) must pay Aryn a cool $100,000 in spousal and child support. Not only that, he has to cough up an additional $60,000 to pay her legal fees. Sheesh!

A judge reportedly ordered Jesse to pay Aryn in three installments first 3 "Grey's Anatomy" paychecks. While the finances have been sorted out, custody of their two children is still up in the air. Aryn is gunning sole custody of the kiddies. Jesse’s ex is making claims that the children are showing psychological signs of damage due to Jeese allegedly exposing them to different women and his alleged erratic behavior.

Samuel L. Jackson has joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe reunion photo shoot taking place in today.

Jackson, who plays Nick Fury in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, shared two photos from the event. [In one photo it shows] Jackson with Anthony Mackie, who plays the Falcon, and Laurence Fishburne, who will debut as Bill Foster, known as the hero Goliath in the Marvel Universe, in Ant-Man and the Wasp.

R. Kelly is putting his (legal) relationship on front street these days.  He threw his girlfriend who's more than half his age a pink-balloon filled birthday party over the weekend.  If they like it...

We've been knowing about the Pied Piper's super young girlfriend Halle Calhoun for over a year now.  She seems quite proud to be the singer's main chick, despite the recent hot water he's been in after he was exposed for allegedly running a sex cult with underaged girls and young women.

Many believe all the women who are seemingly in his harem have been brainwashed into not leaving his side.  The women have completely cut off communication and ties to their own families.  Halle seems to be allowed to be on social media more than the other young women living with R. Kelly.  We hear that's because she's his "main" and gets special privileges.

That would explain why she received this birthday party over the weekend.  The two dressed alike in all red and black get-ups and Halle gushed about how thankful she was for the party on her IG pics and stories:

2017 Homecoming Weekend is HELLA LIT! The HBCUs are turning ALL the way to celebrate this weekend. It’s one of the bigger Homecoming weekends as several HBCUs are celebrating - Howard University, Hampton University, Spelman & Morehouse College (SpelHouse), Clark Atlanta University, Tuskegee University and Fayetteville State University.

Yesterday, Howard University was on FIRE as they celebrated their annual Yardfest with Grand Marshall LaLa Anthony. The “Power” star snapped it up above with Harvard & HU graduate/plastic surgeon Dr. Charles Boyd during the festivities. 

Everyone was out on the yard for the celebration, even the police joined in to Swag & Surf while Doug E. Fresh was on stage.

Because the dance teams are arguably one of the best parts of homecoming games, the ladies at HBCUs are setting ish off with Procter & Gamble.  The Tampax and Always Radiant Collection and HBCU Dance Corporation, Inc. have teamed up to host #RadiantDanceOff, a national, online dance competition sponsored by HBCU Dance exclusively for majorette teams at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU).

It was created to give majorettes the chance to show off their moves and demonstrate how confidence is the key to feeling radiant any day of the month.
